This is an important international cultural recognition, the result of years of work by Abbot Shi Yong Xin and Chinese authorities. The disciplines Shaolin (Chan - Zen Wugong - Kung Fu Wu Shu, Yi - traditional medicine) will also be added to the UNESCO list of 'World Heritage cultural traditions'.
